How are Brown Envelopes Different?
Brown envelopes are known for their classic look, but there's more to them than meets the eye. The shades and tones of brown envelopes can vary widely due to different paper types and production methods, giving each one a distinct character.
"Standard brown paper comes in
3 colors, each with different properties."
BA Kraft Paper
100% recycled brown-gray paper with a thickness of 110 grams is more flexible and less than KA and KI papers. It has a relatively easy water permeability and is suitable for general document use.
KA Kraft Paper
70% recycled golden-brown paper with a thickness of 125 grams has high flexibility and high density. It is strong, and smooth in texture, providing excellent weight support. This paper is suitable for products requiring strength and protection, such as a large bound document.
KI Kraft Paper
70% recycled light brown paper with a thickness of 125 grams features a smooth texture and high flexibility. Its density is comparable to KA paper, but it is more permeable to water than KA. This paper can be used for general products, such as a large bound document or lightweight items.
